Effective handling
Mark your tools, machines and inventory with chips (RFID*) or barcodes. Your employees are given a chip card or key ring. When tools are issued or returned, you only have to read in the data, thus leaving a complete and error-free record behind. A photo of the object in ques-tion also protects against mix-ups when manual handling is involved.
Securely documented
You are provided with a complete and traceable history of each article’s movement. WIM stores your delivery notes, invoices, test and repair records. You thus have complete docu-mentation of your inventory from the time of its purchase up to its withdrawal. At the push of a button you can verify with your employers’ liability insurance association that all the man-datory checks have been performed. You can see right off whether you are still within the warranty period, and in the event of complaints you can print out a copy of the invoice.
Stationary and mobile
You can install WIM on a stationary basis or at any number of workplaces. It’s as a mobile solution, however, that WIM really demonstrates its outstanding performance. Its integrated use on a PDA** (handheld) will save you time and travel. Thanks to direct booking at the respective object you can avoid transport expenses and rule out errors. Important information is available to you directly from the storeroom, field warehouse or building site.
If your PDA comes with a camera, you can immediately document any defects you might detect. When tools are issued together with extensive attachments, a photo serves as an alternative to complicated recording procedures.
